Button-down shirts are essential to a man’s wardrobe. It’s a multi-functional menswear. It can serve as something formal but it can also be worn as something very casual. They’re also fit to be used in our country and our climate since button-downs are very comfortable and tends to be breathable. BUT with lots of options to choose from, how can you separate the good ones from the not so good ones?
One brand that I patronize when it comes to button-down shirts is the “Ninth Apparel”. Ninth Apparel is an online brand that specializes in cool and quality button-down shirts. Originated from the idea of couple goals Harvey Lechago and Justine Anthea, Ninth apparel seeks to provide a quality shopping option for men so that they could also enjoy the benefits of online purchasing. Ninth Apparel also have multiple designs to choose from so men have style options for every occasion. The fabric that they use for their shirts are also of high quality and are imported from overseas.
I was able to try out their shirts and I loved them. It’s very modern and stylish. After washing for a number of times, the cloth still seems new and the color did not fade. The fabric is also breathable so the shirts are comfortable on skin.
I prepared three (3) styles or OOTD’s using the Ninth Apparel Brand: Dressed-up Lazy, Sunday Effortless and Date Night. These are to give ideas on how you can use and play around with your Ninth Apparel button-downs to fit your life and style. Weather you’re an office worker, businessman, student or fresh graduate, these looks are very useful and are easy to pull off.
“Dressed-up Lazy” using “Jungle Fever”
This one is a combination of something easy to wear and something a bit preppy. The “lazy” part is the loose and comfortable top with a casual design while the “dressed-up” part is the pants to the dress shoes. This is definitely something that I would wear from day to night. From a day full of meetings and then a sudden night out with friends, you would never feel over or under dressed and you wouldn’t have to change.
