Smart communications held their sunset session last September 27, 2016 at the “Back of the House” Culinary events space at Xavierville Avenue Loyola Heights, Quezon City.

As the leader for telecommunications, smart gives back by providing TECHNOLOGY FOR ALL. They do this not just by giving, but by IMMERSING themselves directly to the lives of those in need in the hopes to give value to their lives. To achieve this, smart directly embeds itself into society focusing on 5 main pillars namely, education, health, disaster preparedness, environment and livelihood. For the guests of this said sunset session, smart provided an “immersion” type activity in the form of a cook-off. Cooking is an activity that incorporates team involvement thus is perfect for the night’s theme. Smart wants to implement activities that focuses on involvement so the guests were thought how to cook. We were also randomly divided in teams so we can get to know each other.

The chefs from the Back of the House.ph served as mentors and at the same time judges to crown the night’s victors. It was definitely a fun night for us where we learned how to cook and gained new friends.
